Terms of Service
Effective date: May 11, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the mobile applications, paid features, and related digital services made available by Prism Lens Limited (“Prism Lens Limited,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. This document is a general template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel to confirm that it reflects your actual product, business model, and regulatory requirements.
Applicability
These Terms apply to the app, related websites, support interactions, trial features, paid subscriptions, and other digital content or functionality that references these Terms.
Additional platform rules, store terms, and product-specific notices may also apply. If there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory law, mandatory law controls to the extent required.
Who We Are
Prism Lens Limited is the contracting party that makes the service available to you, unless a product-specific notice states otherwise.
References to “you” mean the individual user, or the organization on whose behalf the service is used if that use is authorized.
What The Service Includes
The service may include mobile app functionality, content creation or editing features, account-based functions, in-app purchases, subscriptions, trial offers, notifications, customer support, and other related experiences. Some features may be unavailable in certain countries, on certain devices, or under certain app versions.
We may add, remove, improve, suspend, or change features at any time, including to maintain security, comply with law, or respond to operational needs.
Eligibility And Acceptable Use
You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service is permitted in your jurisdiction and appropriate for your age group.
You agree not to:
- misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service except where applicable law prohibits that restriction;
- upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or abusive material;
- attempt to bypass technical limitations, subscription controls, security features, or account restrictions;
- use the service to violate privacy, intellectual property, publicity, consumer protection, or other rights;
- access the service through automated means that overload or degrade the platform without our prior authorization.
Accounts, Content, And User Responsibilities
If the service offers accounts, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities that occur through your account. You must provide accurate information where registration, billing, or support workflows require it.
If you upload, submit, generate, or store content through the service, you represent that you have the rights needed to do so and that your content does not violate law or these Terms. You retain ownership of your content unless separate product terms state otherwise, but you grant us a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that content as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.
Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Please review that document to understand how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected.
Subscriptions, Trials, And In-App Purchases
1. Paid Features And Prepayment
- Certain advanced or premium features require an active paid subscription or separate in-app purchase.
- Subscription fees are generally charged in advance for the selected billing term.
- Available terms may include daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or other recurring periods, depending on the offer presented in the app.
- Unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase, subscription access is tied to the selected term and product configuration.
2. Auto-Renewal And Ongoing Charges
- If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, it renews automatically for the same billing period unless you cancel in accordance with the applicable store or account settings.
- By starting a paid subscription, you authorize recurring charges using the payment method connected to the purchase flow.
- We may suspend or terminate access if the platform reports that a renewal payment did not complete successfully.
3. How To Cancel
- You may cancel through your account or device subscription settings where those settings are available.
- If your purchase was made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancellation must be completed directly through that platform; contacting us alone does not stop platform billing.
- You may also contact our support team using the Contact section at the end of these Terms for product guidance, but store-managed subscriptions remain subject to the platform cancellation flow.
4. Access After Cancellation
- If you cancel a paid subscription, you will typically keep paid benefits until the end of the current prepaid billing period unless the offer terms clearly state otherwise.
- After the paid period ends, the subscription features may stop, revert to a free tier, or become unavailable.
5. Billing Information
- You agree to provide and maintain accurate billing information, including your name, billing address where requested, contact information, and a valid payment method.
- If billing details change, you are responsible for updating them through the applicable platform or account settings.
6. Failed Charges And Cure Period
- If a charge fails, we or the payment platform may notify you by email, in-app message, or equivalent notice channel associated with your account or store profile.
- You will be given a reasonable opportunity to cure the issue within any period required by the applicable platform or law.
- During that process, paid features may be limited, suspended, or unavailable until the billing issue is resolved.
7. Store Purchases And Platform Rules
- Purchases processed by an app store are also governed by that store’s billing, subscription, and payment terms.
- Questions about payment processing, card handling, or store-side charge disputes are primarily handled through the platform that processed the transaction.
- Store rules may control renewal timing, grace periods, billing retries, family sharing, and similar purchase mechanics.
8. Fee Changes
- We may change subscription prices, plan structures, or paid feature packaging at any time to the extent permitted by law and platform rules.
- Any price change will take effect no earlier than the next billing cycle or renewal period after advance notice has been provided where required.
- If you continue to use a subscription after the changed price becomes effective, that continued use and renewal will constitute acceptance of the updated fee.
9. Refund Steps
- As a first step, please contact our support team using the Contact section at the end of these Terms, because many billing misunderstandings, access issues, duplicate-entitlement problems, and restoration questions can be resolved without a refund.
- If the issue is not resolved and the purchase was made through Apple, you may need to use Apple’s official refund flow, such as reportaproblem.apple.com, or any replacement process designated by Apple.
- If the purchase was made through Google Play, you may need to use the refund request tools or guidance provided by Google Play.
- Refund reviews are handled under the applicable store’s process, and a final decision may take several days.
10. Information We May Provide For Refund Review
- If a store asks for context during a refund review, we may provide relevant information permitted by law and platform rules.
- That information may include account and usage details, such as account identifiers if any, login history, session duration, active time, total in-app time, feature access history, and account status.
- It may also include purchase and performance details, such as purchase verification results, entitlement delivery confirmation, subscription status, cumulative spend, purchase platform, refund history, and whether content or features were successfully made available.
- We may further provide contextual information, such as whether a free trial was offered, whether the purchase appeared consistent with prior usage, our assessment of the support issue, and whether the user consented to sharing relevant facts for refund review.
- The applicable store still makes the final refund decision, and the review may take several days.
11. Free Trials
- We may offer free trials, introductory pricing, discounted periods, or promotional access for certain subscriptions.
- A valid payment method may be required at the beginning of a free trial.
- Unless you cancel before the trial period ends, the subscription may convert into a paid subscription and you may be charged automatically for the next billing cycle.
- To the extent permitted by law, we may modify, limit, withdraw, or end free trials without prior notice.
12. General Rules For In-App Purchases
- In-app purchases may include digital goods, feature unlocks, consumables, non-consumables, subscriptions, or other digital services offered inside the app.
- These purchases are personal to the purchasing account, are generally non-transferable, are not redeemable for cash, and may not be resold unless law requires otherwise.
- If a purchase fails to deliver correctly, our usual approach is to help restore the item, validate the entitlement, or direct you to the applicable store refund process where appropriate.
- Disputes about charges processed by a store should be directed primarily to that store.
13. Refund Acknowledgment
- By starting a paid subscription or making an in-app purchase, you acknowledge that refunds are exceptional remedies rather than standard outcomes, subject to applicable law and platform policy.
- You also understand that resolving a support issue, restoring access, or correcting entitlement status may be more appropriate than a refund in many situations.
Intellectual Property
The service, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, interfaces, audiovisual materials, and related content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.
Except for the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms, no rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, secure, accurate, or suitable for your specific goals. You are responsible for evaluating whether the service is appropriate for your intended use.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prism Lens Limited and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe that you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, exposed us to legal liability, or interfered with the operation or security of the service.
Termination will not affect provisions that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations already incurred, intellectual property protections, disclaimers, liability limitations, dispute-related provisions, and other rights accrued before termination.
Links And Integrated Services
The service may interact with third-party platforms, app stores, hosting tools, analytics services, payment processors, or integrated services. We do not control those third-party services, and they may have independent terms, privacy notices, and technical requirements.
Children’s Privacy
The service is not intended for children who are below the age at which they may lawfully consent to digital services on their own, unless a product-specific experience clearly states otherwise. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the service inappropriately, please use the Contact section at the end of these Terms.
Cookies, SDKs, And Ad Choices
Some parts of the service may rely on SDKs, local storage, attribution tools, analytics technologies, or similar technical methods to support functionality, measure performance, and manage subscription or marketing effectiveness. Additional details about personal data handling appear in our Privacy Policy.
Updates
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, the relevant store listing, or other reasonable means before the updated Terms take effect. Please review these Terms periodically.
